about

Recorded on cassette.

lyrics

The air is wet,
Much like our faces-
Eternally oscillating emotional reflections.
Like waves in the ocean.

Life is a mathematics equation and I am bad at math.

The people around here,
They grow like evergreens.
So many,
Blowing in the wind,
All the same,
Just like me.

All souls search,
All souls searching
Like an ant looking for its nest.

Intrusion into my privacy.
Intrusion into my soul
Intrusion into my space,
I don't know what mine is.

I accidentally looked at a map of Virginia,
thinking it was Colorado.
So lush, but so flat.
Have I forgotten my own home?

Where can I strike a balance,
Between what my soul needs and what my life requires?

When can I pray and feel like God hears me?

But my own head is an echo chamber,
Between the Tinnitus and the stress.
Daily life has me reeling.

When I was a child,
I used to go outside and watch the stars move.
If you pay close enough attention, they go fast.
Traveling through the night sky like darts towards a scoreboard of nothing.
But they never reach their destination.

If swirling bodies of beautiful sun can't find find their own place in this existence we call home, then how can I?
